To additionally promote Telitec's range of mobile telephones, Adam King ran a competition giving away a telephone each week.  

When technical problems (outside of Telitec's control) prevented people re-charging their phones, Coast FM was able to broadcast information quickly and - more importantly - let people know when they could re-charge again.  Something that wouldn't have been possible with conventional print advertising.
